I never thought that I would live in an era when the pharmacy would actually send someone to your house for a small fee to send you the medications that are ready to be filled. I thought my dad was starting to get dementia when he told me that he had Diazepam online sent to his house. I said dad there was nobody around that was going to send you your medication, you are thinking about back to when you were a kid and your parents used to have the ice delivered for your refrigerator and freezer to keep things cold. I really thought that was interesting enough alone. I think it is cool that there are drones that are being used to deliver some things already to people and I wonder how long it is going to take before we all have a lot of things being delivered by a drone on a regular basis.
I have friends that deliver food for an online app where people can go online and order food from places and they could have someone who is not affiliated with the place deliver it to you. I was speaking to a lot of different people about the different ways that they have their medications sent to them and I have heard of mail order. Twenty years ago they started to offer three months of medications for a two month cost and a lot of people started to really take advantage of this. That was when managed care was really popular and now we all have the indemnity plans again which means most of us have a large deductible that we have to pay before the insurance will cover anything for us. I think that is insane and think we need to go back to the way it was.
